The MEDITECH project aims to promote technological innovation through the development of advanced solutions for the management and analysis of geospatial data. Its primary goal is to create a platform capable of supporting the digital and environmental transition by integrating satellite datasets, artificial intelligence technologies, and advanced cloud architectures.
The project focuses on building a digital ecosystem where geospatial information can be efficiently processed, analyzed, and shared. This initiative aligns with the European strategy for data management and complies with the interoperability and sharing policies outlined in the European Data Strategy. The platform being developed will enable the collection, processing, and visualization of geospatial data to support strategic decision-making in urban, agricultural, and environmental sectors.
Latitudo 40 plays a central role in the project by developing EarthDataPlace, an advanced marketplace for accessing and processing satellite datasets. The solution leverages artificial intelligence algorithms to transform remote sensing images into actionable information for urban monitoring, environmental sustainability, and land-use planning. Latitudo 40 is also responsible for integrating the platform with FIWARE technologies to ensure interoperability and data security, thereby enhancing accessibility and usability of geospatial information.
Furthermore, the project includes the evolution of EarthDataPlace from a prototype into a commercial solution, aiming to validate its effectiveness through market testing and collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
