In the last 20 years, Gaetano has worked for companies in the space economy sector with particular reference to the downstream satellite segment as head of marketing, sales and business development. He has a business education and a great passion for turning business ideas into products. He has a great international experience thanks to his role as Business Coach for the European Commission in the SME instrument program, as a member of the Board evaluation of the Copernicus Incubator program and as a Copernicus Master mentor. He shares his spare time with his three twins, his English buldog and his BMW GS.
Mauro Manente graduated in computer engineering at the University of Naples – Federico II in 2000. From 2000 to 2010 he worked as a Software Architect and Project Manager for satellite and multimedia solutions for one of the largest Italian IT companies. His experience focuses on satellite band optimization algorithms and the distribution of audio-video content on heterogeneous networks. In 2010 he became the founder and CEO of Penta Technology and dedicated his experience and skills to grow his company in advanced environmental monitoring solutions and in multimedia content management markets. In 2017 he is co-founder of Latitudo 40.
Vincenzo has been involved in Project Management and Business Development for almost 20 years. He began working for ICT research projects funded by the European Commission and still serves as a Business Coach for EC projects. He started as innovative founder and co-founder of some start-ups based in Italy and the United States, where he generally held the role of project manager and support for innovation and R&D projects. He is literally dependent on Crossfit.
He holds a degree in aerospace engineering, a master’s degree in aerospace engineering, astronautics and a research doctorate. Degree in electronic engineering and telecommunications at the University of Naples Federico II, respectively in 2009, 2012 and 2016. From 2016 to 2018 he was a researcher at the University of Naples Federico II. In 2017 he was co-founder of Latitudo 40, Naples, a high-tech company operating in the field of remote sensing. In 2018 he entered the Surrey Space Center, University of Surrey, in Guildford, UK. His research interests include microwave remote sensing, learning automatic, time series analysis and data fusion.
